Bipolar Test

Try this free screening for Bipolar Disorder

This free online Bipolar Test is only a preliminary screening, and even a positive outcome suggesting Bipolar Disorder does not warrant a conclusive diagnosis. A proper diagnosis can only be accurately made by a mental health professional. It is recommended that you print this page, and share the results of this bipolar test with your doctor, psychiatrist or therapist.

then this is considered a positive screen for Bipolar Disorder, and further evaluation by a mental health professional is strongly recommended. This free online Bipolar test is a commonly used initial assessment tool. Other causes of your symptoms will have to be ruled out before a diagnosis can be accurately made. Your therapist or psychiatrist may choose to use an additional bipolar test, and should conduct a full diagnostic interview. The bipolar test is also more accurate when close family or friends can offer accurate history and observations of your behavior.

Another commonly unrecognized issue is unresolved emotional trauma. Trauma and PTSD can often go for years without proper treatment and can lead to mood instability, depression, anxiety, insomnia and behaviors that may be mistaken for bipolar disorder. It can also be a trigger for bipolar disorder (both can exist together). Learn more about Trauma and PTSD.

Guided Meditation for Depression

Learn to meditate and cultivate the peace and inner stillness that you've been missing.

Meditation is one of the single most valuable things you can do to cope with the ups and downs of Bipolar Disorder. Even if you've never meditated before, this Guided Mindfulness Meditation makes it easy to enter a deep state of inner stillness.

"I went to your website and found your “guided meditation for depression”. The 15 minute one. I laid down... just exhausted from all the inner pain and the “trying” to make is stop... and "trying to fix it"... and I listened to your guided meditation for 15 minutes. The inner pain went away. I was kind of stunned!
(I meditate daily)…so I felt as if some kind of “inner demon” was tormenting me or something, and it was simply gone and I could breathe and felt I came back to myself. I felt like my self for the first time in days. The pain wasn’t just “shouting at me” nor was it simply “lurking in the background”... lurking to come back...it was gone."
