Anxiety in Alzheimer's Patients

by Sandy
(Ankeny, Iowa)

My mother has alzheimer's and grinds her teeth, I feel, from anxiety. The Dr. doesn't want to give her meds
for it because it will make her tired. Are there any holistic remedies that someone with her limited mental
abilities can do?

Wanting to help my mom have better quality of life,
Sandy

Ben's Answer:

I'd suggest trying EFT with her. If she is uncooperative or unable to track well enough to do EFT with you or with a therapist, you could do the technique surrogately (on yourself - "for" her). This works well in many situations, including with young children, and even animals.

Homeopathy may be another easy, non-intrusive method to try - but for that I would consult an experienced homeopathic practitioner.

Let me know if you have questions.
