Alternative Pain Relief

Drug-Free Pain Relief is Possible for Many

Even the mainstream medical literature now acknowledges that alternative pain relief is legitimate and effective in managing or alleviating symptoms of physical pain. But a review of the information out there mentions very little about the methods that I personally have found to be the most effective, and in the shortest amount of time.

EFT (Meridian Tapping) is at the top of my list of alternative pain relief methods. While it does not work 100% of the time, nor for all people, it has an extremely high rate of success in decreasing or eliminating pain. (Keep in mind that even the most common medical treatments for pain are only partially effective at best, and usually involve the acceptance of a chronic physiological dependence on opiates to "manage" the pain). The widespread use of opiates and other pain medications to manage physical pain is regarded by most doctors as the lesser of two evils. Is it better to live in debilitating pain, or to be addicted to a daily pain medication regimen that at least allows you to function more "normally?"

How Does EFT/Meridian Tapping Help with Pain?

For those who refuse to consider any form of treatment that cannot be thoroughly, scientifically explained, don't bother reading this. I'm not a scientist, and my intention is not to satisfy anyone's intellectual curiosity about why EFT works. The fact is, that it does work for many people. The best way to prove it to yourself is to try it. Experience is what I'm concerned with. I don't really care why it works.

Alternative pain relief methods include a wide variety of techniques that address all different levels of healing - from chiropractic care that works with the structural integrity of the body in order to allow the nervous system to function as it should, to energy-based techniques that allow the body to heal itself from within, by optimizing the body's natural flow of energy, as in acupuncture.

EFT/Meridian Tapping works on both the energetic, and emotional levels of healing. More than 85% of physical problems are created or worsened by stress. Emotional pain and inner conflict produces a state of stress and imbalance in the body. Whether pain occurs spontaneously or is the apparent result of a physical injury or abnormality, relief is often possible by addressing either energetic or emotional imbalances (or both).

EFT/Meridian Tapping can be a quick and effective method of alleviating headaches.
