Positive Expectations - Tapping your Dreams AliveThe most powerful force in the world is a person with utter faith and conviction - positive expectation and unwavering trust. EFT Tapping can be an incredible catalyst for change, by focusing intention and dissolving negative emotions and self-defeating thoughts or beliefs that slow down your progress.
But what do you do when life seems to be your enemy? How do you tap your way out of a seemingly hopeless situation?
Hope and faith are easiest to come by when we already feel good and things are going our way. But when we are on a losing streak, it's not so easy to turn it around.
We hear a lot about the "Law of Attraction." The universal principle of cause and effect. As above, so below. The world is your mirror. We attract what we focus on. The difficulty comes when we are so steeped in despair, sadness, anxiety or shame, that any attempt at positive thought seems futile and fake.
In those times, what is called for is surrender. Surrender is not giving up and accepting a lifetime of misery. Surrender is giving up the struggle. It is essentially an act of faith to stop fighting against the illusions that surround you and darken your heart and mind. When we fight with shadows we make them appear more real and we become more disabled.
The Law of Attraction is real. It is provable to those who want to prove it. The tricky thing is "whether you believe you can, or you believe you can't - you are right." That is to say, the world will always prove you right - regardless of your beliefs. Belief precedes experience. Our expectations influence the results. There is no ultimate reality to discover, except that we have endless creative freedom to influence our adventure in this life... if you choose to believe that.
For most of us, the journey from despair to bliss is never a one-step trip. We have to just reach for the next best thing. Genuine surrender brings peace and acceptance - and that is MUCH better than despair and frustration.
Focusing on peace, on gratitude, on love, on compassion, or any positive emotion or experience - attracts more of the same. Choosing to focus on the good, and not to dwell on the negativity/fear, is essential if you want to turn the tide. Sustain your focus and attention to the better feelings, the more hopeful thoughts, the beauty in life, the things you love and care for. It is not in vain. The longer you can sustain these thoughts and choose them over your fearful ruminations, the more you will elevate yourself and bring a new season of joyfulness an good fortune into your life.
Tapping can be an incredible aid in this process. But don't give up if you don't tap yourself to enlightenment with 5 minutes of tapping, when your depressed and jaded. Let tapping be the method of first accepting the difficult feelings and thoughts that you do feel right now. This alone can bring great relief if you do it with sincerity and presence. Don't be attached to the results, just be in the moment and speak the truth to yourself as you tap.
As the heaviness begins to lighten and the darkness fades a bit, continue tapping about whatever negativity is still there, and always finish with several rounds of positive tapping. Just like affirmations - but don't B.S. yourself... say what you can believe in. Or if you can't believe in anything positive, then say "I am open to the possibility that things can get better."
Here's some more positive statements you can tap on:
"I choose to see things in a new way." "I'd rather be happy, then right." "I'm willing to let go of this." "I'm open to the possibility of happiness." "I accept what I feel and who I am." "I choose to be at peace." "I know there is another way to see things." "I choose to trust my heart... my intuition." "I choose to love myself with all my imperfections."
Remember, tapping normally begins by tapping out the negative stuff - voicing the painful thoughts and feelings as you tap. That is what loosens it's grip on the mind and body. After that, you proceed to tap the positive statements. Do as many positive rounds as you want. If it feels good, do more of it. Always end on a positive note.

This individualized intensive program is a one-on-one full-day experience. For those who are ready to go deep and break through an area of difficulty, a barrier or long-standing pattern. We will tailor the structure of this day to suit your individual needs and goals prior to the intensive day. Don't Give Up!
Every life challenge is an opportunity to awaken. There is no situation that is hopeless. Something positive, healing and transformative is possible in all circumstances, even when we can't recognize it at the time. Sometimes we forge ourselves out of the fire of suffering and loss, and it isn't until the end that we realize what a beautiful work of art has emerged within. The glory of waking up can't be experienced if you don't first accept that you are asleep.
May we all find peace. May we all know joy. May we all be liberated from fear, and released from illusions. May we all return to the Truth of our inner Light.
