Meg,

I totally agree with Ben, and can tell you from experience that EFT/Meridian Tapping will help with your depression (I have had Major Depression for many years). I would, however, like to make two points:
1) Your psychiatrist should have picked up on the mood swing cycles, if you told her what you told Ben. If she is not considering a BiPolar condition, then you should definitely seek another opinion (my husband is BiPolar; it is not something you want to let go for a long period of time as the outcome can be devastating).
2) As someone with a history of self-injuring, I can tell you that you need to get help NOW. Once you give in to the urge, it becomes a compulsion that you cannot control; you will do it over and over and over. My arms and legs are covered with scars that attest to this. Suicidal tendencies will follow once the injuring stops giving you relief.
Please don't wait! Start using EFT/Meridian Tapping now, it does work, as does meditation. Find yourself a good therapist and a good psychiatrist, and get this resolved before it is too late. Best of Luck to you!
Jan
