Providing integrative therapy and coaching for individuals, couples, families, and adolescents.

My approach to psychotherapy is:

  • Client-Centered
  • Present-Focused
  • Dynamic and Transformational!

Your beliefs powerfully influence your experience of reality, the quality of your relationships, and your state of health.

I see the highest potential in my clients and support them in realizing their true gifts and authentic, powerful individuality.

Nobody needs to be defined by their problems, struggles, their stories or their past. We are infinitely more than we think we are!

I offer a variety of powerful techniques drawing from holistic approaches to healing, yogic science, mindfulness meditation, and energy psychology, for deep and lasting change.

My goal is to provide you with the best tools to get what you need and desire in your life, and to help you achieve real transformation and healing now.

Santa Rosa Psychotherapist Ben Schwarcz: Approach to Psychotherapy

Transpersonal Psychotherapy - integrating Energy Psychology with Cognitive-Behavioral and Existential-Humanistic therapy. I emphasize present-moment awareness, utilizing the principles of mindfulness and yoga. I view health from a holistic perspective, and utilize a variety of approaches in therapy. The course of treatment is a collaborative process that is designed to suit your particular goals and needs.

Energy Psychology (particularly EFT) ,is the main technique that I use to quickly alleviate even chronic and "deeply ingrained" issues. In most cases successful resolution of problems and issues occur within a fraction of the time that traditional "talk therapy" used to take.

EFT/Meridian Tapping is the most versatile, effective and practical method I have ever found for eliminating emotional pain, self-limiting beliefs, and even many physical (somatic) problems.

For more information about developments, research and information about Energy Psychology, visit the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology:

ACEP is an international nonprofit organization of licensed mental health professionals and allied energy health practitioners who are dedicated to developing and applying energy psychology methods for the treatment and relief of those suffering from emotional challenges such as addictions & compulsions, anxiety, depression, limiting beliefs, personality disorders, phobias, stress, and trauma. Energy psychology interventions address the human vibrational matrix of three major interacting systems including:

    • Energy Pathways – meridians & related acupoints

    • Energy Centers – chakras

    • Energy Systems – the human biofields that envelop the body

ACEP seeks to establish the credibility and effectiveness of energy psychology through its programs of certification, education, ethics, humanitarian aid and research.

    What is Transpersonal Psychotherapy?

Transpersonal Psychotherapy holds the perspective that the awareness of the Self can be known and experienced but not analyzed or quantified. When we clear the blocks to the awareness of the essential Self -- guilt, shame, trauma, unwanted anger, tension, fear - true healing takes place and we experience real happiness and effortless self-acceptance. Therapy helps us learn to identify with the true self, beyond the constructs of the mind, and the constant ups and downs of emotion, thus ending the conflict and drama that keeps us in a state of suffering and despair.
